Project: Luxury Garden Room in Otley
Project Overview
Simon and Jo Palmer envisioned a multi-functional garden room that could serve as an entertainment space, DJ setup, and private retreat. The couple sought a solution that not only met their design expectations but also addressed the challenging landscape of their garden in Otley, which featured uneven terrain.
The Challenge
The primary challenge was to establish a stable foundation on sloping ground without resorting to extensive and disruptive excavation work. Traditional foundation methods were not ideal due to the potential for excessive digging, which could have marred the garden’s aesthetic and led to increased costs and time.

We supplied 50 ground screws, specifically selected for their ability to anchor securely in uneven terrain. These screws formed the perfect base for the Structural Insulated Panels (SIPS) used in the construction of the garden room. Our team worked closely with Heritage Garden Studios to ensure the precise placement and leveling of the screws, which was crucial for the overall stability and longevity of the structure.
